This is the first chapter of an incomplete novel I was writing in High School, back in the 1980’s. I actually got about ten pages from the end, then lost the notebook I had been writing the second half in, and never found it.
It’s about a young girl who joins a coven of witches, only to find the powers she’s gained are corrupting her and turning her against her friends and family.

The Void – Prologue and Chapter One
This was my first novel, written in High School in the 1980’s. I’ve never published it, and don’t think it’s publishable as-is, but have considered trying to fix it up into something I might want to show people.
It’s about a family that crosses paths with, and earns the wrath of, a man who thinks he is God and is amassing a collection of zombified people to do his bidding.
